The Weston A. Price Foundation is one organization that has done wonders for the health of the nation. It’s too bad that more folks don’t know about the Weston A. Price Foundation. My introduction to this organization was actually from the reading of Weston Price’s book “Nutrition and Physical Degeneration” that I read when I was getting my start in nutrition. His book really opened my eyes to the severe degeneration of the food system in Western culture. I found this book and a short time later the foundation. I do believe that I owe a debt of gratitude to them for the nurturing influence they have had on me and my family.
I will continue to be active and participate as one of the chapter leaders for our local chapter. I feel that there is so much more that I can do as an individual and will keep at it for as long as I live.
The quarterly publication “Wise Traditions” is well worth the price of admission.
I urge you to check out the website and while you’re there, you may as well sign up for a yearly membership to join the global community and receive all the benefits of some of the best and most up-to-date nutrition and wellness knowledge. Tidbits found along this journey may save your life.
Here are some examples of just a few recent topics in the latest Wise Traditions publication:
Toxic Iron and Ferroxidase
Anthrax, Arsenic and Old Lace
The Nourishing Traditions of Morocco
Beware of Modified Food Starch
Homeopathy and Anemia
Restoring Faith in the Promise of Science
Wise Traditions is a quarterly magazine that is packed full of information pertaining to food, farming and the healing arts, as it says on the cover.
I would also like to mention the Wise Traditions podcast. I find this well-written and produced podcast to be one of my most listened to.
